My Moment of Inspiration for Today

Throughout every day, if you look hard enough, you’ll find that you had a moment of inspiration that spurred you on to fight through a situation. I’ve shared some of my moments of inspiration below, in the hope that they may inspire you to overcome a situation, or push you to achieve more in your own life.

“Do whatever you need to do today to continue to move forward in a positive direction.”

“Lay down some fundamental rules so that people know what’s allowed or accepted.”

“Turn up the enthusiasm level. It’s contagious.”

“Having clear and easy to understand, rules and boundaries in place, makes a household run smoother. The same holds true in a business environment.”

“Take the straightest path to get to where you want to go. It’s faster, and it’s easier.”

“It’s the little things that matter the most.”

“Set guidelines so people know what to expect, and when to expect it.”

“With the right help, and willingness to do better, any negative situation can be overcome.”

“Be 5-minutes early, not 5-minutes late. It just works better.”

“There’s plenty of help and guidance out there. You just may need to look hard to find the right type that works for you.”

“Until you actually do something, you’ll never know how hard, or easy, it truly is.”

“Understand the rules, and then find ways to use them to your advantage.”

“Live is too short to be mean. Focus on the positive, and bring the “nice” energy.”

“Use all your life lessons that you’ve learned thus far, as a resource book to live a better life today.”

“If you stay persistent, and hold true to your core values, you’ll eventually get to exactly where you want to go.”

“Every day has an inspirational and motivational moment that happens. Sometimes you just need to look hard to find it.”

“Happiness is easier to have when you’re well rested, and taking part in positive actions in your life.”

“Don’t push the full responsibility on someone else, that’s just not fair. Work as a team, share the responsibility, and the results will be better.”

“A great personal relationship can crack open a frozen heart.”

“You’re going to be good at whatever you work at. If you work to be a jerk, then you’ll be a good jerk. If you work to be a good person, then you’ll be a good person. It’s that simple.”

“If you’re not exactly where you want to be, but you’re confident you’re headed in the right direction, stick with it, keep pushing on, and you’ll get there.”

“It’s what a person has on the inside that matters the most.”
Some of the most beautiful people that I know, actually have the least external gifts. It’s your heart that matters the most. Drop any preconceived judgements before you truly get to know someone.

“The storm will always pass if you stay calm, consistent, and patient.”
Without a doubt, there are going to be rough times in your life. Maybe something didn’t go your way, or maybe you made a mistake and messed up. It’s ok, just look to learn from what happened, get a better understanding as to why it happened, and then take any necessary steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“Walk out your door today with confidence. Let people know that you’re doing the right things and that you’re willing to help where needed. Never be arrogant or cocky though.”

“If you don’t find what you’re looking for right away, look left, look right, move some stuff around, and you’ll eventually find it.”

“Put yourself out there. Smile wide, reach your hand out, and be the first to say hello.”

“Take action to improve yourself today. The people around you may not change, but you can.”

“It’s the work in-between your training and therapy sessions that matters the most.”

“Change your actions, and your attitude will change as well.”

“Help out whenever and wherever it’s needed.”

“Do what’s asked of you, and make the most of every minute while you’re doing it.”

“Find peace within yourself so you can have clarity when you need to make decisions.”

“Make sure the daily activities that your engaged in, not only impact your own life, by those people around you as well.”

“Look forward to today.”

“Live is great. Be ready for the day. Relax your mind, get ready mentally, and enjoy the ride.”

“Don’t take feedback as criticism. Take the positive from every conversation, and leave the rest.”

“The day is all in the setup of how you look at it. Make the decision to do right, to help others, and to help yourself.”

“Make it a point to smile and laugh through every day.”

“Keep dreaming bigger and bigger.”

“Daily effort and determination will yield great results.”

“Give yourself that ever so important moment of clarity before you make any major decisions.”

“Give without wanting or expecting anything in return. This is the point of true growth.”

“Take the positives from every situation. Increase your belief that anything is possible. Continue dreaming, and actively achieve one goal at a time.”

“Focus on what you want. Become more clear on how you can get what you want over time. Don’t lose focus. It will happen.”

“Fill your life with love, sunlight, and warmth.”

“When you laugh, love, and care for one another, it makes everyones life better.”

“Move out from old negative feelings. They do us no good. Replace them with positive feelings.”

“Stay in the moment today, but still look forward and plan for the future as well.”

“Smile. It makes all the difference.”

“Stay positive and always look at things from the brighter side. Love one another.”

“Visualize what it is that you want. See yourself in it, or looking the way you want. You can do it.”

“When you get butterflies inside your stomach, run and fly with them, don’t let them stop you.”

“Be in control of your own actions for best results. Make the right decisions, and success will be achieved.”

“Great days start with great thoughts. Start every day with great thoughts, and watch the great results.”

“Feel good inside. Do activities that fill your bucket. Like sharing, caring, saying hello, and smiling. Enjoy what comes with it.”

“Take care of each other and support each other in a positive way.”

“Help build everyone you come in contact with into a super positive and understanding person.”

“Enrich your relationships by creating and sharing lovely memories.”

“Let people know how important they are to you.”

“Keep your moments of achievement going by working together as a team.”

“Every day has an inspirational or motivational moment that happens. Sometimes you just need to look hard to find it.”

“If you stay persistent, and hold true to your core values, you’ll eventually get to exactly where you want to go.”

“Use all your life lessons that you’ve learned thus far, as a resource book to live a better life today.”

“A great personal relationship can crack open a frozen heart.”

“Don’t push the responsibility on someone else. That’s just not fair. Work as a team, share the responsibility, and the results will be better.”

“Happiness is easier to have when you’re well rested, and taking part in positive actions in your life.”

“Until you actually do something, you never know how hard, or easy, it truly is.”

“There’s plenty of help and guidance out there. You just may need to look hard to find the right type that works for you.”
There are tons of tips, tools, and tricks out there, but they’re not always easy to find. Take the time to do research, to read testimonials, to read feedback, and to find the best solution that works with the time and money that you have. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy, it just has to work for you.

“Understand the rules, and then find ways to use them to your advantage.”
If you don’t know the rules, you’ll never know how far you can push things before getting into trouble. It’s best to get a firm understanding of the rules that you’re dealing with, and then put together a strategy that maximizes them to your advantage. The more you know, the better you’ll do.

“If something is bothering you, figure out exactly what the issue is, and then address it head on.”
Pushing issues and feelings under the table is not smart. What is smart is taking an inventory of exactly what’s going on, talking everything over with a person in confidentiality, and then addressing the issue, or issues, head on. Run towards the issue, attack it, and overcome it in the process.

“Have the courage to make a much needed change. Life is too short not to be happy.”
If you’re stuck in the mud, start to dig out slowly. Any fast motions will only make you sink deeper. Get a plan, think it over, and them implement it. Always keep your courage greater than your fears. Change is needed sometimes. It may hurt in the short-term, but in the long-run you may be much better off.

“Do what you love and be a positive influence on everyone you come in contact with.”
Put that beautiful smile on your face, and show those pearly whites to everyone you come in contact with. Stay happy by working hard and positioning yourself to get engaged in activities that you love. When you’re happy, you have a much better chance of positively influencing the lives of everyone you come in contact with.

“Your strength is in the “Now.”
Meaning right at this moment. Are you engaged in action that’s moving you closer, or further, from your goals?”
Living in the future, or in the past, isn’t going to help you right now at this current moment. Do everything you can to stay present. The present moment is where you hold the most power. Use the past as a reference point of what to do vs. what not to do.

“Don’t count on someone else to make you happy. Do what you need to do to make yourself happy.”
This is a big one. Counting on, or waiting for someone to come into your life and make everything perfect, may put you in a position where you have absolutely no control, or timeframe to become happy. Instead of waiting, take action in your life and get engaged in activities, groups, and organizations, that improve your quality of life.

“Sometimes you just have to go with what you have. Yes, it may not be optimal, but just move forward and hope for the best.”
Having paralysis by analysis because of your inability to make a decision, is not going to help you out. What is going to help you, is coming to the realization that not everything may be exactly the way you want it to be at the current moment, but by continuing to move forward, you’ll do just fine.

“Always be excited to learn. You never know what topic or subject will excite you and invigorate you to do better.”
Be a sponge for learning. Be like a little kid when they’re just learning how to crawl — being curious and investigating everything that they can get their hands on. Share what you learn as well. There’s no better feeling than putting a smile on someone else’s face by sharing helpful and useful information with them.

“Pick up after yourself and leave everything in better condition than when you arrived.”
There’s nothing worse than using a co-working space, or someone letting you stay at their home, and you leaving it a mess. It comes down to respect. If you respect yourself, you’ll respect other peoples space and property as well. Do the right thing by picking up and cleaning up after yourself.

“It doesn’t always have to be your way. It’s ok to try new things.”
Being a creature of habit is ok, but if it rules your life, maybe a little change in your routine will yield some greater benefits for you. If you don’t try new things, how are you ever going to know if you like them or not. The answer is — you’re not going to know. Open your horizons, by opening yourself up to new ideas and ways of thinking.

“Use your time wisely.”
You can get stuff done, or you can waste time. The choice is yours, but just understand, that there are a lot of other people out in the world using their time wisely to work towards what they want to achieve, and they’re going to leave you in the dust if you keep sitting around wasting time. Make a plan to make the most of every minute of your day.

“Having clear and easy to understand, rules and boundaries in place, makes a household run smoothly. The same holds true in a business environment.”
If rules are too difficult to understand and abide by, perhaps they’re too strict, and a change may be necessary. You’re not trying to make life difficult for people, you’re just trying to make sure that everyone knows what to expect, and so that your household or business can run smoothly based upon the actions and behaviors of everyone.

“If everything is, “In a little while,” nothing is ever going to get done.”
You need to get after it, from the time you wake up in the morning, until the time you go to sleep at night. Hesitate, and people are going to continue to run by you. Just think of it like you’re running a marathon, there are people that want to get buy you, so if you slow up, you’re going to be looking at their backs.

“Be the person that starts the next inspirational moment.”
Don’t wait for someone else to start the next great inspirational cause. Get out there, take immediate action, and start it yourself. One inspirational moment can make all the difference in your life. Inspiration is strange, you never know when it’s going to come, or in what form, so stay positive on a daily basis, and don’t let anyone ever get you down.

“Write down what you need to do for today, then go out and do it.”
If you don’t write down things, you’re naturally going to forget. I know you may think you’re the one person in the world that can remember everything, but you’re not. Everyone, no matter how smart they are, forgets something, at some point in their life. It’s much easier to clear the clutter from your brain by just taking a few minutes and writing down what you need to do for the coming day. It will even make you feel better when you cross them off at the end of the day.

“With the right help, and willingness to do better, any negative situation can be overcome.”
If you have something that’s holding you down, or holding you back from something you want to achieve, address the issue, seek the guidance needed, and take whatever steps necessary. It’s not like we’re going to live forever here, so there’s just no time to continually be unhappy.

”Set guidelines so people know what to expect, and when to expect it.”
Just imagine a world without speed limits on the highways. It’s not going to work. Some people go too slow, some go too fast, and it’d cause all types of accidents. That’s why we put speed limit guidelines, so people know not to go too slow, or too fast, and to keep the traffic moving. The same holds true in life and business relationships — set guidelines so people know what to expect, and when to expect it.

“If you’re going to do it, at least be passionate about it.”
There’s no sense in wasting time just going through the motions. If you’re going to be involved, at least put forth a strong effort. Passion is the fuel that leads to success, so if you want to be successful, let your passion shine, and actively participate in every situation you’re engaged in.

“Do the best you can, with what you have, on a daily basis.”
Sometimes you just need to go with what you have. It may not be pretty, but by you putting forth effort, you never know what may come out of the situation. I can tell you one thing for sure, if you don’t at least try, nothing is ever going to happen. Don’t wait for perfection, as it may never come.

“Be assertive and take action in your life for best results.”
Sitting around with your head down and thinking about how everyone else in the world is so much better than you, is not going to do you any good. Get up, commit to yourself that you’re going to stay positive throughout the day, and bust your hump with action steps that assist in moving you closer to where you want to go in life and business.

“It’s tough to hold water in your hands, so instead of trying to grasp and hold them together so tight, open them up and let it flow through. Do the same with anything else that’s bothering you.”
Just let go and stop trying to control everything and everyone in your life so much. People are people, they’re going to mess up, you’re going to mess up — just learn from your mistakes, and don’t do them again. You’re responsible for your actions, not someone else’s.

“Practice, practice, practice. Always be thinking of your next move.”
I’m not talking about living in the future, and not taking care of your current situation. What I’m talking about is educating yourself, by practicing a physical or mental activity that you’d like to get better at. Just showing up to a game, without attending practices, isn’t going to fair to well for you. Put the effort in to make yourself better, through daily practice and by planning ahead.

“Bad decisions yield bad results. Make sure you put the time in up front so that you make the right decisions.”
Making irrational decisions will only compound situations. Before you make any major decisions, talk them over with a professional, family member, or friend, and get some feedback. If any additional research is needed, do it before you actually make the decision.

“Every positive movement starts with action. Get engaged and actively participate in your life today.”
Without action, nothing is ever going to change. Whether it be mental action, or physical action, it all starts by you taking the initial action and putting yourself to work. If you want to get places quickly, sync up your mental and physical actions, and then work like crazy.

“You have to keep your foot on the gas if you want to get to where you want to go.”
Coasting along and hoping for the best isn’t going to get you anywhere. You need to keep the pedal to the metal and hold on for the ride of your life.

“If you’re going to say or do something that you’re passionate about, do it with conviction.”
There’s no sense in wasting your time, as well as everyone else’s time, if you’re just going to be blah-blah-blah with your effort. Bring the enthusiasm, turn up the energy level, and make sure your body language matches up with your words.

“It takes way more courage to do the right thing, than to take the easy way out and do the wrong thing.”
Believe me, it’s easier to take the shortcut and do the wrong thing, but is it really the best thing for you in the long-term… most likely not. So take the time to do it right the first time, so you won’t have to go back and do it all over again a second time.

“Share your love for someone by providing them a path to success.”
If you want to be successful, help other people be successful, it’s that simple. Give away what you have, share your knowledge, share your hope, and give someone less privileged an opportunity to shine.

“Some days you just need to move a little faster than others so you can get everything done.”
On days that you have a ton to do, wake up like your hairs on fire and get after it. There’s no time to mope around and complain — there needs to be one speed, and that’s 100 mile per hour.

“When you find yourself continually lowering your standards, it’s definitely time to remove yourself from the situation and try something new and more enriching.”
Don’t ever lower your standards for anyone. Always keep your head high, and be true to yourself. If you want to feel esteemable, do esteemable acts.

“Be smart and use the tools that are available to you.”
One of the number one things that separates the successful, from super successful, is how they use their resources. Use the tools and resources provided to you, and network like a champion. Always be first to reach your hand out, smile wide, and introduce yourself.

“Be willing, to be willing.”
Think about it — if you’re not willing, you’re really not going to have much to work with. Everything starts with willingness, whether it be listening to a different way of doing things, or implementing a new strategy, the willingness theme remains the same.

“Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts we have as humans, but we must use it, to feel the long-term rewards.”
It makes no sense to walk around being upset or mad at someone. This type of activity will only make you feel bad in the end. Let go of whatever is bothering you, and just remove yourself from the situation moving forward.

“Do what you naturally think is the right thing to do, and you’ll be correct most of the time.”
Your natural intuition is way more powerful than you think. Use it, get in the right mindset, and make decisions that are based off your moral values.

There you have them. Some of my best moments of inspiration. I hope they inspire you to overcome a tough situation in your own life. I know they’ve worked for me, so I know they’ll work for you as well.
