When you think of network marketing, you may cringe a bit because you think of the horror stories of your neighbors selling a new product or service, and them constantly nagging you do get involved, attend a meeting, go to a conference, host a meeting at your house, or any of the other ten thousand things you can think of, but it doesn’t have to be that way when you do things right.
Doing it right.
Matt and Erica Zinman, network marketers for Isagenix, a company that focuses on health, wealth, and happiness, break this trend, and market by attraction, not promotion, which in turn, literally gets people coming to them to learn more, and sign up as part of their team in the process, rather than them having to constantly go out and drive people to come to them.
Focus where you’re most comfortable.
Erica focuses primarily on Facebook, while Matt focuses more on LinkedIn. The reason they do this is not because they have some master plan to take over Facebook and LinkedIn with Isagenix, it’s because that’s what social media channel each one of them is comfortable engaging in conversations on. What I see a lot of time with network marketers, is that they try to be on every channel, with every product, and they get too pushy, which in turn, drives people away. Let me tell you, that is the absolute incorrect way to do things, especially if you’re planning on being in the network marketing game for a long time.
The secret ingredient.
What you need to do instead, is simply engage in normal everyday helpful conversations around whatever product or service you’re selling. In Matt and Erica’s case, they engage in helpful, timely, and relevant conversations, around losing weight, feeling good, and helping people make passive income. It’s that simple. Because they do this day in, and day out, they’ve naturally become the go-to resource when someone needs help with Isagenix. Yes, there are a ton of people that sell Isagenix, and there are a ton of people making a ton of money doing it, but on the other hand, there are also a ton of people that are making no money selling Isagenix because they don’t have the right team support behind them to help educate and attract business.
Put the WHY behind it.
One of the great things that Matt and Erica do, is “They make sure person knows the WHY behind why they’re signing up.” Maybe a person wants to lose weight themselves, or maybe they just want to make more money while they sleep, whatever the reason, a person new to selling Isagenix, or getting involved in any type of network marketing business, needs to know the WHY, and they need to have an excellent team leader. A team leader in network marketing will onboard you, will guide you through the process so that you can make the most amount of money, in the least amount of time, and they’ll keep you accountable and on track to reach your sales objectives. Without someone to do this for you, success is most likely not going to happen.
Do what works.
So let me start to wrap things up here. I’m not directly involved with Matt and Erica and their Isagenix team, at least as of this moment, but I wanted to shed light on the fact that the way they’ve built their network marketing business works, and it works extremely well. In my life, anything that I see that works well, I always look to learn more about it, because if I know one thing, “There are a ton of ways to make money, and a lot of it, if you get hooked up with the right people,” and Matt and Erica are a couple that will spend time with you, that will educate you, that will push you to learn more and do better, and that will keep you accountable, so please reach out to either of them with any network marketing questions you have, regardless of whether it’s in reference to Isagenix or not, they’ll provide you with suggestions that will guide you down a path to success.
Remember, a happy customer that puts money in their pocket every month, will become a raving fan of whatever product or service you’re providing, and they’ll tell all their friends what a great job you do, providing you with plenty of new opportunities to make more money.
